It's amazing to think that, all these years later, the sacrifice these people made is being commemorated in this way. Second Life, for all its idiosyncrasies, is chiefly a way people can be together despite physical distance. This kind of ceremony really epitomises SL at its best. As we say in Australia, "Lest we forget".
