Visitors to London City had the pleasure of meeting my friend, Philip Rosedale, the founder of Linden Lab and creator of Second Life on Thursday evening.
Philip talked at length about the creation of Second Life and his ideas on getting it started and then went on to explain his visions for the VR High Fidelity platform he now works on.
He wanted to know how Residents felt the mainland compared to private islands, ideas for improvements of avatars, keeping regions up and running all the time without throttling them. All in all a very interesting visit.
He was also very interested in the London City community and how this estate retains its users. He was very complimentary to our team and our master builder.
What's more at the time of this article, Philip is still in the region.
And here is the definitive answer to which preoccupies us.. sort of:
