Gordon Lightfoot on Saturday!

For the first time ever in London City, singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot will be performing his most famous songs!

The Canadian born performer is perhaps best known for his songs rather than his performances of them.  His material has been recorded by (to name but a few), Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Judy Collins, Barbra Streisand, Johnny Mathis, Herb Alpert, Harry Belafonte, Scott Walker, Eric Clapton and Glen Campbell.

His most famous songs include, "For Lovin' Me", "Early Morning Rain", "If You Could Read My Mind", "Sundown", "Carefree Highway", "Rainy Day People" and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"

Still performing to this day, Gordon Lightfoot remains one of the most poetic and evocative song writers of all time.

Enjoy his concert here in London City.  The event is on Saturday at 1pm SL time (8pm UK), with the concert at 2pm SL time.

London City Maintenance

London City is undergoing some lab end maintenance today, which will result in our old location being reflected on the map, until it updates in the next 24 hours.

Until this time, please use landmarks to access the estate as Maps and Slurls may fail.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Bank Holiday!

London City North

Yet again, its a long weekend in Great Britain as we celebrate the Summer with another Bank Holiday.

It is extremely important that you to rush down to the local supermarket and invest in lashings of delicious cold beer as the mercury is set to soar!    But hurry! stocks are limited because I've just come back from shopping.

Join us in London City throughout this wickedly hot long weekend!

A tribute to Glen Campbell - Saturday

Glen Campbell's career spans over 50 years.  He is perhaps one of the best known Country singers of all time, with hits, Gentle On My Mind, Galveston, Wichita Lineman, By The Time I Get to Phoenix and Rhinestone Cowboy.

In 2011 he announced that after many years of suffering short term memory loss, it was in fact the effects of Alzheimer's disease and that his ability to perform and record music was coming to an end.

Throughout 2012 and 2013, Glen Campbell performed a worldwide Goodbye tour for all his fans to enjoy his music one last time.

Join us here in London City at 12pm SL (8pm UK) this Saturday for a Concert, celebrating the career of the Rhinestone Cowboy as he rides off into the sunset.
