Last night in the City

Yesterday was our 6th Birthday. Thank you to everyone who came and partied with us to the sounds of Steps.

Historians note..
Six years ago on a little 8192 parcel on the mainland, we built this tiny street "Soho Square", with just 8 shops and Bar Soho nightclub. The buildings have improved somewhat over the years, but they are "of the time". This road ultimately spread out to become London City.

We hope you will come and celebrate our 6th Birthday with us this coming weekend!

Also, we have a brand new schedule for the clubs starting this weekend - news on that very soon.

Celebrating Six Years of London City

Six Years of London City

London City began its life on the mainland in a region called Mephilo Tor. The region is still around but largely vacant.

It all seems like such a long time ago. Here's an old video of "Mainland London" as we called it back then. Hopefully my video editing skills have improved slightly since these early videos.

London City - 6th Birthday Celebrations

Since 2009 London City has been the primary community region for tens of thousands of Second Life residents.

In August 2015 London City will be 6 years old and invites all residents young and old who have special place in their hearts for the greatest city in the world, to join in and celebrate during a month of activities and events to mark this milestone.

We have over 12,000 pictures taken throughout the 6 year history, here is just a few hundred that capture the spirit of the most popular destination in Second Life.
