It's time to celebrate the jolly music of German Bands (oomph paa paa) as Madame Lala's celebrates Oktoberfest on Friday night from 1pm SL time (9pm UK).   Free Beer, Jolly People and no mention of Angela Merkel or Brexit.

Hurricane Lorenzo and Oktoberfest

Britain is braced for its first country wide hurricane in 32 years, making landfall early Friday morning, with gale force winds today from mid-afternoon.

What better time is there to make plans for an early weekend, seeing as you won't be able to go to work tomorrow?

Whilst sheltering from this hurricane of the century, why not pop along to Madame Lala's from 1pm SL time (9pm UK) to enjoy Oktoberfest.  Oodles of grog and yodelling are bound to take your mind of the carnage going on outside.

Oktoberfest the event

A wonderful night was had, thanks to Bailey and Coffee at Lala's, which had turned itself into a beer tent full of grog sampling residents.

Top Omph-pa-pa tunes were heard throughout the evening, and a special appearance by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel made the event even more special!

Don't forget today is party day with the Worlds End pub at 11am SL (7pm UK) and then Party in The Park from 12pm SL (8pm UK) followed by the concert by Hazel O'Connor.

Oktobefest Hangover

It was a sensational event at Lala's last night for Oktoberfest.  The drinks were flowing, the running buffet was finger-licking good, and Madame Bailey going round on the turntable after a few gins was the highlight of the night.

If you enjoyed Lala's last night, then next Friday is a true spectacular for you as Lala's holds a special Michaelmas Day Event with a full sit-down meal, dinner and a dance!

The weekend gets off to a flying tart with Madame Bailey and CoffeeQueen today at Lala's.  The duo will be making a spectacle of themselves in Lederhosen.  A sight not to be missed!

A special Oktoberfest theme is the business of the day, with lashings of beer and yodelly type songs.
It's fun for all the family, but works a great deal better if you arrive suitably inebriated
