Sterling is doing well. In fact the British economy has grown much faster than other countries in the European Union, that tomorrow on 1st December we are due to pay our punishment fine of £1.7 billion to bail out the Euro again.
Hot on the heels of Britain being asked to pay the EU an additional £960 million on top of the £1.7 billion, we did a just for fun flash poll which asked our visitors:
Should Britain remain the European Union? Yes/No
Our board registered the first 100 votes, so the results are both people and a percentage. It is worth noting that anyone could vote no matter which country they are in, so those benefiting from the fines levied on our growth may well have voted for Britain to stay in Europe, lest the gravy train runs out.
60% of people voted for Britain to leave the European Union, whilst 40% voted for it to stay.
Of course, if Britain ultimately decides to leave the union, various trade embargoes could come into effect initially, so start clearing some space in your garden so you can grow potatoes and cabbages and dig for victory once again.
