Brexit: UK Independence Day
Whether or not you wanted Brexit, it is upon us as the United Kingdom ceases to be a member of the European Union today at 11pm GMT. Even if this was not your choice, you surely do not want our nation to fail at it's own independence.
Come and celebrate as we all pull together for the hopes of a better, stronger Britain and commemorate this momentous occasion.
DJ Bailey is bringing Madame Lala's on the road today at 1pm SL (9pm UK) in the main Hub, with the theme of being Patriotic.
Enjoy the Big Ben Bongs as the UK leaves the bloc at 3pm SL, 11pm UK.

Blitz
Thanks to illiana for donating this Blitz game to the hub area.
You have to score as close to 31 as you can using the same suit. You discard one card each time you pick up. When you're close to 31, you "knock" and everyone gets one more round before their cards are revealed on the table. The person with the lowest score loses a life and so it continues until each player is eliminated, leaving one victorious winner...
.. who just happened to be me on this occasion.

Windows 10 free upgrade
Windows 7 support ended on January 1st, and many people think that they have missed the boat for the free Windows 10 upgrade, and that they now need to pay for it. This is not true. The upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is still free!
You can still get the Windows 10 update absolutely free from Microsoft.
Go to the Download Windows 10 MS site, and under the heading
Create Windows 10 installation media
1. Click Download tool now and choose Run.
2. Then choose, Upgrade this PC now.
Follow the prompts and sit back whilst Windows 10 is installed. This can take several hours. As long as you elected to keep existing programs and data, all your settings and programs will be preserved.
This update route uses your existing digital Windows 7 licence and applies it to Windows 10, without any intervention from the user.
Happy upgrade!
